This category is for the profile of a person who has been working as a barber or hairdresser for less than 2 years. For example: 1 year of academy and less than a year of practice. Or less than two years working in a barbershop as an apprentice. The person who manages to win in this category, whatever their age, will not be able to enter in this category again.

 

Judges will score on the following:

• Degree of difficulty: Hair length, techniques used, etc.

• Precision: Technical precision of the lines and the completion of the cut

• Styling techniques: Blow drying, styling and use of product

• Professionalism: Body position and position of cutting and styling techniques

• Total "Look": The harmony and coherence of the hairstyle with the shape of the head and facial features of the model.
