Bathroom Window Problem
After renovating our bathroom, I noticed one of the nearby window panes regularly looks foggy from the inside of the glass. At first I assumed it was just humidity from showers, but the moisture seems trapped between the two panes and doesn’t disappear. Why does condensation form between glass like that? Is it a sign the seal has failed, or could something else cause it?

We noticed this after renovating our bathroom, and it looked like shower steam at first. However, if the moisture is genuinely inside the sealed cavity rather than on the room-facing surface, the unit’s edge seal has probably failed. That allows humid air into the gap, where it condenses on the cooler glass. Double glazed window condensation guide guide explained the difference clearly. In our case, better ventilation wouldn’t remove the trapped haze; replacing the sealed unit did. A glazier should confirm it first.
